Manage machines permissions are required.

Machine IDs can be updated before starting a risk assessment. After initiation, any changes require you to open a ticket with us to update it on your behalf. 

This article explains how you can change the identifier yourself if a risk assessment hasn't yet been started.

1. Changing an identifier

To change a Machine ID:

1. Go to the machine you want to modify.
   You can do this by double-clicking it or clicking Edit Machine.
2. Locate the ID field.
3. Update the value.
4. Click Save.
