Resetting a user password

Users responsible for user management.
Manage Users permissions are required.
If a user within your organisation is unable to access their account, or you require them to change their details for any other reason, you can trigger a password reset from their profile.
This article shows you how you can access this feature.
1. Resetting a password
To reset a password:
- Go to the People Dashboard.
- Click the View button next to the user you’d like to reset the password for.
- Click Reset password.
This will send an email to the email address associated with that profile.
The reset email is sent immediately upon clicking the button. If triggered in error, the user’s existing password will remain valid and unchanged unless they complete the reset process via the email link.
